SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1
    Community Homeless Connect, first of two consecutive days, Parrish Middle School,  802 Capitol St. N.E. Salem  97301. This event brings together more than 50 agencies and 300 volunteers to connect chronically homeless adults to health care, IDs, employment skills, housing resources, and more in one location on one day. Last year, over 300 volunteers connected over 400 individuals in housing crisis with need services. SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2
    Upward Trails ministry’s cross-country six outing to Teacup Lake. in the Mount Hood National Forest. A 4-mile trek with less than 500-foot elevation gain.  503-522-7205 or upwardtrails.com
    Super Bowl Sunday. The 54th Super Bowl for the National Fotball League championship will be telecast from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.  Some churches will hold special viewing parties.
