Seven dates in August were announced earlier, but specific times and venues are now also known for evangelist Franklin Graham’s Decision America Pacific Northwest Tour in Oregon and Washington. All events will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Oregon portion of the tour begins Wednesday, Aug. 1 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds and Exposition Park in Medford. On Friday, Aug. 3, it continues at Christian Life Center’s Life Amphitheater in Bend. Then, in the Portland area, it concludes at the Clackamas County Exposition grounds in Canby on Sunday, Aug. 5.
The Washington portion of the tour starts Tuesday, Aug. 7 at Richland’s Columbia Point Marina Park in the Tri-Cities. It then continues Thursday, Aug. 9 at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, then Sunday, Aug. 12 at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. The final event is Monday, Aug. 13 at Evergreen Speedway and Fairgrounds in Monroe.
Joining Graham at all the Northwest events except one will be popular Christian musician Jeremy Camp. Performing instead of Camp at the Aug. 5 event in the Portland area will be The Afters.
The Decision America Tour was born in 2016 when Graham visited capital cities in all 50 states, challenging Christians to lead lives rooted in Biblical principles and to pray earnestly for America. In total, more than 230,000 attended the 50 rallies. Last year he continued the tour by going back to Tennessee and Texas, drawing 70,000 people to outdoor venues in 11 cities.
Graham will hold 10 events throughout California this month before the Pacific Northwest tour. He plans to keep the momentum going next year with tour stops in the northeastern U.S.
Graham said he is focusing attention on the West Coast this year out of a desire to proclaim the truth of the Gospel in the three states, which he noted is increasingly becoming one of the most secular areas of the nation. For more information go to pnw.billygraham.org
